and educational programs. It is a place to hang out
with friends! Activities free. Refreshments sold. Supervised
by site director and managers, police officers, and

Summer Library Programs
Catch the Reading Bug Summer Reading Club |
For all Abington Township boys and girls
Run through Abington Free Library, 1030 Old York Road, Abington, and Roslyn Branch Library, 2412 Avondale Avenue, Roslyn
Children pledge to read at least 20 minutes a day and record progress in a reading log, or, parents read aloud to children and count that time toward the reading goal.
Children who visit the libraries and show their logs to the staff will receive a sticker or stamp for each book read.
Roslyn Branch Library will host a summer-long “Catch the Reading Bug!” game and raffle for anyone who checks out 10 books per visit.
Abington Free Library registrants will be eligible to win prizes for reading five, 10 and 15 hours. All children who read throughout the summer will receive a free paperback book.
