New option for area parents whose children suffer minor injuries or illnesses.
Opened July 1, 2014
Located next to Holy Redeemer Hospital’s Emergency Department in Meadowbrook.
Staffed by board-certified pediatricians and pediatric-focused physicians’ assistants and nurse practitioners.
The center has its own entrance, kid-friendly waiting area, child-sized medical equipment, and X-ray capabilities.
Designed to provide fast care in a comfortable setting for infants, children, and teenagers who have non-critical medical problems.  The goal is to see children in 20 minutes and have them in and out in about an hour, similar to a short visit to the doctor’s office.
Treatments offered may include minor medical issues such as colds, rashes, lacerations, sports injuries, fevers, stomach pain, croup, minor broken bones, strep throat, skin infections and mild allergic reactions. For more complex issues, patients can quickly be seen in the Holy Redeemer Emergency Department.
Cost:  Some insurance plans accepted; also offers low out-of-pocket prices
