Pottery Class Workshop
For ages 5-14 years old
Session II: May 3, 10, 17, 24
5-8 year olds - 6:00- 7:00 p.m
9-14 year olds - 7:30-9:00 p.m.
Held at Ardsley Community Center
Young artists explore their imagination, develop creativity and gain confidence by working with clay. Each week, children will complete one project, such as animated cartoon figures, boats, large butterflies, and a a piece based on personal interests. All skill levels and abilities welcome. All supplies included; pieces fired at the Pottery Works Mobile Studio. Glazes and clay are food safe and lead free.
Cost: $60 for residents; $70 for non-residents.

Hershey’s Track & Field Games
To encourage physical fitness among youth and emphasize participation and sportsmanship             
Winners of each event have opportunity to advance to District meet in Easton, PA
Open to boys and girls ages 9-14 as of 12/31/13
Saturday, June 8, 10:00 a.m. until completion
Held at Gwynedd Mercey High School Track, 1345 Sumneytown Pike, Gwynedd Valley, 19477
Track Events:  50, 100, and 200 meter dash; 800 and 1600 meter runs;  4 x 100 meter relay
Field Events:   standing long jump and   softball throw
Each child can participate in either 2 track and 1 field event or 1 track and 2 field events
Cost:  Free

Shining Knights Chess Club
For those ages 4-14
Learn to play chess from rules to advanced tournament strategies. Class time evenly divided between instruction and play. Students paired with opponents of similar skill levels.
Held at Ardsley Community Center, 2828 Spear Avenue, Ardsley
Next Offered Thursdays, April 11-June 13, 2013, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Fall Session September 9-October 24  Summer camp August 19-23

Spring Fun Tennis
For ages 6-16
Saturdays, April 13-May 18
Alverthorpe Park tennis courts
Classes either 9:00-10:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.-12:00 noon
Tennis clinic for all levels of players, including beginners
Instruction includes basics and drills either to learn or to improve game.  Organized play in match singles and doubles.
Cost:  $90 for Township residents; $105 for non-residents

Mad Science: Super Slimy and Shocking Science!
For boys and girls ages 7-11 years old

Learn how electricity, matter, and slime can be fun! Build a simple circuit, make light bulbs light, buzzers buzz with logic boards, build electromagnets and static chambers; make goey slime and Mad Science putty, and more.
Bring a brow-bag lunch, snack, & drink
