MISSION: The Abington Community Taskforce (ACT) is a coalition of diverse organizations working together to enhance the effectiveness of programs and services for youth and their families in order to ensure a safe and caring community.

CORE VALUES:
Caring - We share a sense of responsibility for the well-being of our community.
Collaboration - We are a diverse group of individuals and organizations who work together to advocate and problem-solve for the benefit of children, youth, and families.
Community - We share a vision and support one another to create an environment where children and youth thrive.
Integrity - We set a standard of honesty and act as a role model for the community.
Proactive Protection and intervention - We are leaders in assessing needs, determining challenges, and inspiring action.
Respect - We value each person and family.

ACT member organizations look for ways to provide needed programs and activities as well as to evaluate and improve on those already in existence for area children and youth.

Students and families are encouraged to visit Things To Do, a regularly updated listing of events, programs, and activities around town, with added pages for
Sports,
Special Programs, and Camps..
