Student Community Service Award Honorees
Yu Na Sara Kim

Yu Na Sara Kim is a well-rounded senior, talented in math, science, art, and music. Yu Na has shared her gift of music and art as a Concert Mistress/Soloist for the school orchestra, is a member of the PMEA District and Regional Orchestra and the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra as the First Violin. Yu Na created the Abington Chamber Orchestra, which raises money for the Abington Scholarship Fund. She has been honored with the Presidential Service Award and admitted to the National Honor Society. Along with her academic and music achievements, Yu Na has provided many hours of service to her school and community. She has served as a treasurer and an editor for Abington Key Club, organized a Can Drive, Halloween Safety Party, Organ Donation Awareness, and Kiss a Senior Goodbye. She has worked with the Glenside Kiwanis Club and has volunteered at Abington Memorial Hospital. Her interests have led her to pursue career exploration programs at Rohm and Haas, Elkins Park Hospital, and most recently the Governor's School for Health Care at the University of Pittsburgh.
